Established in 1903 in the South of Tarn and set in the beautiful surroundings of the " Montagne Noire " (the black mountains) and its deep forest, the tannery Alran S.A.S. has developed a vast expertise in the tanning and tawing of goat, calf and buffalo skins and hides.
With passion and flair, our team produces products for the leather, upholstery, book binding, shoe and other related industries. We are proud to supply our leather products to the most prestigious trademarks and famous manufacturers, independent artisan and young designers who share our deep passion for leather.

In addition to the hand-boarded Madras goat skins, our specialties include smooth goat and calf skins, metallised, pearlised or printed hides, sued goat skins and nubuck calf. We use a wide range of tanning, cleaning and dressing techniques and revive the tradition of vegetal tanning, regularly re-accessing the large scope of touché and grains offered by our leathers.
